Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Gage has had a great start to the hockey season this year. He helped lead the Huskies to win their first regular season game while scoring a hattrick as a defenseman. Gage is Captain of the Huskies this season and also plays an integral part of the Varsity Boys Football team at Sturgeon Heights. Gage was named a WHSHL All-Star last season and helped win both games against Team North Dakota on the weekend in the USA with the WHSHL Elite team. Gage is also a gifted Lacrosse player and looks to help repeat as Provincial Champions next Spring. Coach Tyler Metcalfe states, "Gage is a multi talented athlete who is always the hardest worker continuing to work on his game every chance he gets".

Gage is a grade 12 student in good academic standing and hopes to pursue NCAA opportunities for athletics in the future.
