Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Emma is an exemplary athlete leading her teammates both on and off the court. She is always the first in the gym and the last to leave. Her dedication and drive to the game is clearly reflected in her stats this season. She is averaging 29 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals a game. She also put up an impressive 44 points in a game, a career-high for her.

While her athletic talents are evident, it is Emma's character and the way she carries herself on the court that is her most outstanding trait. She embodies the spirit of respect, positivity, and leadership. Her dedication to excellence, both on the court and in the classroom, inspires those around her to strive for greatness while maintaining integrity and kindness. She is a testament to the idea that true success is measured not just by wins and statistics, but by the positive impact one has on their team. One of the officials said it best this season that she never allows a call or an opponent's style of play affect the way she plays. She continues to demonstrate a respectful and positive attitude from the first quarter to the last. And that will serve her well in the next stages of life.
