Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Shyla just won the MHSAA Provincial Mixed Doubles Curling title for the third year in a row. Her dedication to the sport shows on both her school team and her Junior Women's team. She is a true leader who contributes with her knowledge of strategy and her consistency. Her love of the game and her passion for bringing diversity to the sport is unmatched. Shyla also competes in cross country, track and indoor/outdoor soccer. She is an asset to the girls indoor soccer team this year that is currently sitting in first place in their playoff run. 

Shyla is an honour roll student. Shyla volunteers her time with the boys hockey program doing music and video. Additionally she volunteers in the community through the CGCC volunteer program.
