Dairy Farmers of Manitoba Athlete of the Week

Ryleigh Schellenberg is a senior at the Rosenort School. She won the single girls badminton championship at a tournament in Carman, then two days later won the tournament championship in Girls doubles at GVC. This was only one week following the end of the basketball season.

She participates in Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton and Track and Field. She was co-captain of both the Varsity Volleyball and Basketball teams. She helped lead her volleyball team to a silver medal in the AA provincial championships and was named a provincial all-star. She led her basketball team to a provincial championship gold medal at the A provincials in basketball, where she averaged 26 points, 43.4 FG%, 7 steals and 13 rebounds per game. She was named provincial MVP.

Ryleigh is always near the top of her class academically. She maintains an average of 98%.
