Bryan a distinguished coach from Glenlawn Collegiate, has dedicated over 40 years to coaching basketball, leaving an enduring mark on the sport in Manitoba. His teams have consistently competed at the highest level, reaching the provincial championships numerous times. Over the years, he has led teams to the Final Four an impressive 19 times, finishing as finalists 12 times and securing 8 provincial championships. His expertise has extended beyond the high school level, as he also served as the provincial basketball team coach for a decade, during which he guided his teams to two medals, including gold. Bryan's outstanding contributions to basketball have been recognized with one of the sport’s highest honours—his induction into the Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame not once, but twice, in 2003 and again in 2021. His dedication to coaching, player development, and the growth of basketball in Manitoba has solidified his legacy as one of the province's most respected and accomplished coaches.
