Grey Cup Legacy Male and Female Coach of the Year
Stacy Hawash

Stacy is a work horse. The amount of selfless giving that she does daily is truly outstanding, and she is a massive asset to the school. She puts kids first and foremost every daily and creates an environment of inclusion, accountability and competition that allows students to figure out who they are and how they will be successful.
Stacy has had an incredible amount of success coaching basketball and team handball. Her basketball teams are consistently ranked in the top 3 AAAA girls teams in the province. Multiple alumni come back to coach every year and the program just continues to produce some of the best female basketball players in Manitoba.
In her time with Vincent Massey, Stacy has coached Varsity Girls Basketball from 2003-2025, Girls Team Handball from 2003-2025, and JV Girls volleyball in 2005.
In that time she has captured four MHSAA AAAA Varsity Girls Provincial Basketball Championships, most recently earning that title this past March. She has recorded three girls Team Handball Provincial Championships, produced multiple University bound student athletes, and has had three #1 ranked female basketball student athletes in the past five school years.
Stacy has also served as an MHSAA Board Member, Winnipeg Tier 1 Basketball League Convenor Basketball Manitoba Board Member, MABO Board Member and referee evaluator, U Sports Basketball Official, Basketball Manitoba provincial team program evaluator, provincial team coach, and an NCCP Level 1 course conductor.
